As the holiday season is upon us, we find ourselves reflecting on the past year. 2023 has been a year of growth for the PRSA Foundation:

• Awarding over $130,000 in scholarships, fellowships, and grants to public relations and communications students, our largest award year ever.
• Launching the Foster the Future Initiative, which awarded four BIPOC public relations and communications students with scholarships and paid summer internships at agencies.
• Introducing five new scholarships: the AGEAN Public Relations Fellowship, David Imre Scholarship, Geoffrey M. Curtis Scholarship, LaunchSquad Fellowship, and Method Communications Fellowship.
• The growth of PRSA chapter supported scholarships, with six scholarship programs (Buffalo/Niagara, Georgia, Houston, Maryland,Puget Sound, and Silicon Valley).
• The return of the ICON Travel Grants to bring 10 BIPOC students to PRSA and PRSSA ICON in Nashville

We are asking you to consider the PRSA Foundation as an official partner this holiday season. As part of this effort we are asking you to send at least one company or department-wide message about this fundraising effort. We are also happy to support a virtual live event to help raise funds too.

For nearly 20 years, the Foundation's mission has been to advance the mission of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) by way of raising scholarship dollars for students who are interested in the public relations/communication industry.
